Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I am pregnant?
The first step is to take a pregnancy test, followed by an ultrasound. Our lab-quality pregnancy tests are highly accurate. A positive pregnancy test may be followed up with a free ultrasound scan to reveal more information about the pregnancy.
When should I get an ultrasound?
When you come in for a pregnancy testing appointment, if your test comes back positive and you meet the medical guidelines, we can usually provide an ultrasound for you that day!
What is the morning-after pill?
The morning-after pill is a form of emergency contraception. Emergency contraception is birth control used after unprotected intercourse or a known or suspected contraceptive failure (e.g. a broken condom) to attempt to prevent pregnancy. One of the most common ones is a pill called Plan B One-Step®.
